Kimber 1911 Rapide Dusk .45 ACP Pistol
The Kimber 1911 Rapide Dusk Pistol features a meticulously engineered stainless steel slide, optimized for exceptional speed and performance. Its design incorporates cutouts that minimize weight, facilitating quicker slide movement, along with a stainless-steel match-grade barrel coated in gold titanium-nitride (TiN).
This PVD coating not only enhances resistance to corrosion and wear but also improves slide speed by decreasing friction between the barrel and slide bushing. The slide’s geometric grooves contribute to both the pistol’s streamlined appearance and its operational efficiency.
The Kimber slide operates with remarkable smoothness, exhibiting minimal play even when the barrel hood is depressed while the pistol is in battery.
